BROOKLYN HIP-HOP FESTIVAL

Hip-Hop Started Out In The Heart.

The festival was the Rucker Park of Hip-Hop. My time there was solidifying the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival as the Hip-Hop Homecoming.

For a week long, over 10,000 plus hip-hop lovers travel to the planet of Brooklyn as a tribe to experience Hip-Hop at it’s rawest through concerts, conferences, exhibitions, and community gatherings.

The following are images from my time at the festival where I served as the festival director of marketing and programming.

FESTIVAL CONCERT

featured Nas, Jay-Z, Common, Jay Electronica, Yasin Bey, and Masego to name a few.

CONFERENCE/ FILM FESTIVAL

featured DeRay McKesson, Tish James, Linda Sarsour, Sickamore, Angela Yee, Fab 5 Freddy, Jamie Hector, Julian Mitchell, Eric Parker, and more .
